The Lewisham Black Voluntary Network (LBVN) is an independent, association of Black community sector organisations operating in Lewisham, dedicated to making a lasting impact borough-wide and beyond. Our organisations provide a variety of support and services to address the different needs of individuals within Lewisham.
Mabadiliko CIC
​Mabadiliko, meaning 'change', is dedicated to transforming lives through: Public Health Research on Black and minoritised communities' healthcare experience; Cultural Humility programme to foster anti-racism practices; Emotional Support Groups offering safe spaces for Black adults. Our mission: Empowering communities, promoting understanding, and building community resilience.
Action for Community Development (AfCD)
We provide Capacity, Mentorship and Bespoke Leadership support to Community Leaders and Organisations in the Not for Profit / Charity Sector. Our services include Mental Health, Health and Wellbeing, Elderly, Training, Adult Services, Research, Consultancy Services, Legal Advice, Capacity building training and support
KINARAA
We deliver transformative projects, driving positive change in our community and beyond. Our projects involve collaborations, research, influencing policy, and more. Our projects work to empower, innovate, and uplift the Black third sector, and the local Black African and Caribbean community.
NCBI Training
We facilitate training and help to develop self-awareness, self-esteem, self-confidence, emotional intelligence and reduce conflicts. our service areas include; Youth/Young Adults, Mental Health, Health and Wellbeing, Disability, LGBTQ+, Education, Training, Crime Prevention, Consultancy Services, Equality Diversity Inclusion, and Emotional Intelligence.

We support individuals facing vulnerabilities and disadvantages, helping them improve their financial, economic, physical, and mental well-being. Our service areas are Children, Youth/Young Adults, Mental Health, Elderly, Girls/Women Services, Education, Training, Stem, Tech, Adult Services, and Consultancy Services.
American Bites
American Bites aims to be an example to young people who are interested in the food industry and a business with clear social impact objectives. With communities changing we want to be a social space for families, our older elder generation, like-minded entrepreneurs and most of all by providing life skills such as cooking classes and learning how to food prep.
